Click the Average Lock button to change the way the Average displays and averages memory are updated. When the Average Lock button is showing a closed lock, the averages
will not be reset if the datastreams are paused or idle for a longer time. If the button is showing a open lock, the average values will be reset after 5 seconds of inactivity of both down- and upstreams.
Not only the
displays will be affected, but also the memory of the last 32 measurements that is used for calculating the averages will be cleared. Once new traffic comes in (or goes out) the averaging will start from 0 again if the average
lock is off and the network has been idle for more than 5 seconds preciously.
